Burnley are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the Premier League as they try to retain their status in the division for at least one week. The Clarets boosted their hopes of survival with the surprising 3-0 away win over Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend to move off the bottom of the table on goal difference. Norwich City were their replacement at the foot of the table after the 3-1 comeback defeat at Liverpool who are one of two teams in the battle for the league title alongside defending champions Manchester City.
