FERRAN TORRES SCORES HISTORIC TREBLE

New Manchester City player Ferran Torres enjoyed his best night ever after he scored an historic hattrick to condemn Germany to a heavy thumping at the hands of Spain. Ferran Torres netted three times during the UEFA Nations League A Group 4 encounter played at the home of Spanish La Liga giants Sevilla, the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

Ferran Torres started his Manchester City career slowly on the back of his transfer from La Liga side Valencia in the summer but he has started to show his quality in recent weeks. The Citizens signed him for a paltry sum of around £22m and as the direct replacement for German international Leroy Sane who had signed for the reigning European champions Bayern Munich. Coincidentally, Ferran Torres and Leroy Sane lined up for Spain and Germany respectively during the game in Seville.
