Mourinho in another spat with Wengar

Jose Mourinho was involved in a touchline spat with Arsene Wenger during the recent 2-0 win for Chelsea against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. For a change, Mourinho was not the perpetrator after Wenger came into the opposition touchline, laid his two hands and pushed him. After the defeat, Wenger claimed that he did not appear to do anything wrong because he was merely protesting the referee’s decision not to award a red card for Gary Cahill after his challenge on Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez. Mourinho refused to make a meal out of the event, as he said that it was just happening in the middle of a feisty encounter.
This was unusual from both sets of managers, who have been known to have completely different characteristics. The apology from Wenger has finally come – almost a week after the incident. The Frenchman says that he might have gone overboard with the incident and has apologised to Mourinho. He has not beaten the Portuguese in 12 attempts and has only managed to get a couple of draws. As a result of this latest defeat, his team fell out of the top four and nine points behind Chelsea. The gunners are without a Premier league title since 2004 and it is looking highly unlikely that they will end this drought this season.
"We gave a little bit too much importance to this matter. I did not enter the Chelsea zone. I shouldn't have reacted like that. I regret every sign of violence and I apologize. Did Mourinho taunt me? It felt like that,” said Wenger. "Wenger? I don't have words to explain what everybody saw on the [television] pictures," said Mourinho in response to the incident. Last season, there were some feisty encounters in the press conference between the duo with Mourinho labelling Wenger as a ‘specialist in failure’.
